Description: This Special appendix to Civil Aeronautics Manual 3 has been prepared as a guide to aid the applicant in making complete type certification flight test and in preparing a flight test report. The report format is very similar to that used for years by FAA flight test inspectors when conducting official type inspection flight tests and in preparing their reports. The report guide can also be used to assure that the minimum required critical flight characteristics, performance, and pilot operation aspects are considered during a type certification program.
